dmurray407
I've been seeing photos of tanks that have unglazed clay flower pots positioned on their sides like "caves" in them. I want to give it a try-is there anything special I need to do or watch out for? I have some clean, unused pots soaking in a bucket of water right now-is that enough? Thanks! Guppysnail
No issues or worries. Have them in 7 tanks. Grinder or Dremel grinder works best for cutting after 24 hour soak. Hubby also sanded my sharp edges. Here is a thread. Edited October 7, 2021 by Guppysnail
StevesFishTanks
I have found a decent variety of small sized ones at stores like michaels / jo-ann fabrics. The price was better than homedepot/lowes as well.
Helan
I have a green thumbed neighbour, who break a lot of pots from time to time so she just gives them to me for free 🙂, maybe see if there someone like that in your area?
