Seized
Im thinking about doing a half a dose more of easy carbon in my tank to eradicate my gsa and my staghorn algae but im worried its going to kill my chrismas moss bridge. What do you guys think?
yannachka
it’s pretty hard on mosses so i personally wouldn’t risk it.
Candi
Mosses are one of the plants sensitive to the Glutaraldehyde in carbon/algaecide products, as well as Marimo Moss balls being an algae, Vals, and anacharis.
Administrators Lizzie Block Posted September 29, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 29, 2020 I personally wouldn't risk it either.. Maybe you would consider removing the bridge, spot treat your staghorn algae, after a water change or two put the moss bridge back in? I've killed more moss than I'd like to admit dosing glutaraldehyde hah. Mosses are quite sensitive to the chemical.
