Any opinions or advice is welcome...When can Lil Spooky move back home?

I see this as great water perimeters, any thoughts?

Pictures dark but looks exciting and good. I would change out to lower nitrate but my tablet is ancient so use your judgment I try to stay at or below 20. I’m happy for you and Spooky

I think the nitrate is around 80, therefore I should do water changes to reduce?

I would. Like I said 20 or less is my goal. If it goes over 40 my plecos poo becomes a very long string and I have read a few things that they are sensitive to nitrates so🤷‍♀️  Not a sciencey person. I do know a lot of folks prefer a bit more I think each person has their own idea of where their tank needs to be.

I  like to be on the safe side, reason I lost fish cause I was into much of a hurry.

If  Lil Spooky is doing okay where he is now I would let him be and let that 55 run a week or more.

Now that is just me, cause of past mistakes but if you feel good about your 55 its your call.
