Danios , rasboras or tetras

For a fluval 15 flex with a pair of apistos ?

Are there particular species you had in mind? Those are all pretty broad categories. A couple favorites of mine which also stay quite small: celestial pearl danios (aka galaxy rasbora) or emerald dward rasboras.

Also, what kind of apistos?

Cacatuoides Orange Flash and was looking at harlequin rasboras and celestial pearl danios

Will they do ok in Temps over 80? Have my apistos at 81

I've kept both harlequins and CPDs as high as 78 and they've done well. I'd guess they could do 81, but can't say for sure. I'd also suspect that your apistos would be okay to come down a few degrees if needed.

So set it at 78 should be good  or 80

I keep all my tanks at 80-82

I expect either will be fine, but just watch whichever one is getting the change for any weird behavior during the first couple days and adjust if necessary.
