Andy's Fish Den Posted July 23, 2021 Share Posted July 23, 2021 I have only kept them once in a bare bottom tank, so my answer can be taken with a grain of salt. But, I have seen pics and videos online of them on both substrates and I think it doesn't matter a whole lot.
