Ipwnufools
I removed the metal and string from the Java moss and it all fell apart. Am I supposed to leave it all together?lol
TMartins
I took mine apart and broke it into sections and now it’s growing nicely. My Platy fry love it and go in and out of the Java Moss and will actually rest in it during the night when the lights go out.
Patrick_G
I let mine grow on the backing until it tripled in size and then removed it to use in a new aquascape. I think it’s one of the best products Aquarium Coop sells.
Streetwise
I stuff epiphytes into crevices of wood, and tie moss to around wood to itself, rather than using glue or thread.
PineSong
I was surprised by the metal backing because I never bought Java moss before--I always just had it and have no memory of obtaining it. Anyway, I removed the metal and cut the "sheet" of moss into strips and tied each strip around stone or wood. Some escaped and goes wherever it wants around the tank, I guess it will eventually settle somewhere and grab hold.
