AJE
I have had a school of 9 Pygmy corys and added three more recently, I noticed that the new ones are a more gray color compared to the old ones that are a more yellow color. Could it be the food that I’ve been feeding them that caused the color difference? Idk how to fix the upside down issue

lefty o
could be, food, and environmental differences can cause colors to be slightly different.
Fish Folk
Maybe genetics. More likely food, as @lefty o suggests. Any food with boosted carotenoids will increase the pink / red / orange / yellow coloration. This is actually what accounts for flamingos turning pink. If you need krill or brine shrimp, you’ll see this happen over time.
AJE
I am feeding krill flakes so maybe that.
