Michael Schwaller
I have 50 gallon pond in the middle of my vegetable garden with guppies. Going on vacation couple weeks the garden is going to be on a auto sprinkler twice a day for 30 min. can i put extra water conditioner in the pond or should i make a temporary cover over it?
Fish Folk
Interesting question. If I had to place a bet, I’d wager 50-bucks they’ll be fine. But to allay concerns, sure, a boost of Prime won’t hurt. And a simple polycarbonate sheet at an angle could keep most water from sprinkler out

ARMYVET
Does your sprinkler water have chlorine or ammonia in it? If not then no need to cover it in my opinion. My 150 gallon pond has a net covering just to keep the dragon flies out other than that ....no cover

Mine is open to the rain and everything else except the dragonflies...lol
