125 gallon overstocked?

I’m getting a 125 set up.
I think I have finalized what I want in my tank.
1 blood parrot
1 green severum
2 blue acara
5 silver dollars
5 tapajos
1 green terror?
I know the terror is the most questionable part of this and I’m not sure if I will try it but the internet is telling me there is a chance. Each one has something somewhere that says it can be okay with the terror.
A big part of what I’m wondering about this stocking is, assuming the terror is mellow, would this be too many fish?
Or what if I abandon the terror and add a group of Bolivian rams like 5-6?

I do like the thought of a big tank, and big fish! My personal opinion is that a tank always feels just right where there's a balance of threes -- a schooling sort of fish, a main feature fish, and a few minor feature fish.

I'd say . . .  if you're going to go with a Green Terror . . . there might be drama in the "hood."

If densely planted, I love the idea of stocking something like . . .

(1) Pair of Mature Green Severums, or pair of large Altum Angels

(2) Huge School of hardy Congo Tetras, Buenos aires Tetras, or Black Skirt Tetras

(3) Half a dozen Bolivian Rams

(4) 4-7 Bristlenose Plecos (or other cool plecos)

(5) 6-12 of your favorite Corydoras

Okay 😞 I’ll have to give up on the green terror.

how many would constitute a huge school?

I really really would.

But if you wanted to try your original plan, I would grow everything to its max adult size then add a small half grown terror and see if he will accept that everything can kick his butt. And have a strong plan B with a fully cycled tank if it goes south.
