Flyin Jawaiian
Hey everyone just wanted to get some opinions possibly a poll on the best water test kit you guys recommend? Is it the ease of use? Or price? Or just the quality of the testing kit? I’m currently running the tetra 5panel easy strips seems somewhat accurate I hope and price match on petco for $8 🤗
KBOzzie59
Use what you are comfortable with and will actually use. Nothing wrong with the tetra strips.
Hobbit
I mean, I just got the Co op’s test strips and I love them! But I’ve never used any other test strips before, so I don’t know how they compare. I will say that test strips are way, way easier to use than the liquid test kits, but it does seem like the liquid kits are most accurate, assuming you follow the directions to the letter. I have the liquid test kits and I’m sure I’ll still use them sometimes just to double check the strips. 3
Fishdude
If you like playing with a little chemistry set then the API master kit is a good choice. If you need quick information to make sure your fish are in healthy water, the test strips will do the trick. Honestly the best testing method is whichever one you'll actually do consistently.
