Can you please provide more details why?
Sure. They are easy to take care of and find and also much cheaper than three lined corys.

A few thoughts:
- It looks like they may be "balloon mollies". If so, they have been bred to have shorter/plump bodies (like a balloon). It may be that they are, but were underfed in the store.
- I doubt that they would get "fat" so quickly from you feeding extra. If they grew like this over a period of a few months, I would think that it would be a possibility...but 6 weeks is pretty quick to get so big just from extra food.
- Mollies are livebearers, so the females will get quite round in the belly as the fry develops. Maybe not quite this round though. If that's the case, you should see fry swimming around very soon.
Hmmm.. I never thought of that.

@Henry the fish keeper I’m not sure how I tell if there are any males. I do have one that’s much smaller and not as round. That one is the more shy one though so I just assume it’s eating less, lol. How can I tell if it’s male? And are these balloon Mollys? I don’t think the fish store told me what kind they are.
Can you take a picture of him?

Do you have any male balloon mollies? If yes, the balloon molly might be pregnant.

Alright, I will try to find pygmy corys!

But, what I find online people say you can house 4 to 6 otos in a ten gallon no problem.

My male platy love eat snails when he is hungry. But, my juvenile guppies leave the snails alone.

What size is your tank?
My size tank is a ten gallon fish tank that was set up around 7 months ago.

If I end up going with otos what should I know about them?

Both? I have both in a tank with no issues.
No, I am not talking about if they will get along or not. I am a beginner fish keeper. Should I get otos or corydoras?

I have been deciding to get corydoras but I also planned to get otos. Which one should I get?

Mama looking good and healthy.
The other guppers don’t seem to have a hunger for their kin-folk.
Thank you all 🙏 I would’a been a wreck without your guidance!
Yay congrats on your new guppy babies!

Yes. I'm very intrigued about their big move with all of their tanks - especially the big ones (100g+, 200g+) with full grown Oscars. Sounds like a nightmare. I hope they film a lot of it, to see how it all went down.
Hopefully it all works out for them.
Yeah hope there move from Virginia to North Carolina goes well.

Just curious but can a fish with wasting disease fight it off.
-
I'm curious. Do anyone of you watched KGTropicals? It's a youtube channel that does fish videos.

Ya, I guess. I have never had a centerpiece fish. To be honest I just don’t understand that concept. Unless it is normally solitary fish. I don’t know it is me I guess. Does any of that make sense?
Yeah it makes perfect sense.

Definitely a honey gourami.
