    Yeah the tank is a 20 gallon long and it's not super planted (I need to get more plants).

    I bred blue wag platies before (by accident) I brought a female one home with me and gave birth. Sadly all the babies got eaten and the only baby that survived refused to eat.

    So, I have this female pineapple swordtail and I have her with several other guppies and livebearers. I see one of the fish biting a spot near her anal fin, should I be concerned?

    Sorry for the late response, I sometimes get my mollies from a big box store which maybe could explain why they keep dying?

    Not really, I have a swordtail in there along with some guppies. I wonder if I maybe just got a bad batch of them?

    I LOVE mollies but sadly everytime I bring them home they don't do very well and end up dying. Here are my water parameters: Nitrite: 0 ppm Nitrate: 0-20 ppm PH: 7.5 KH: 40 ppm GH: 180 ppm Chlorine: 0

    WOW! She's so pretty! Never seen that unique coloration before. Probably (just a thought) a mustard gas female betta.

    I don't know much about cichlids but I would say keep them with the blood parrot at your own risk. If you see any aggression between the two, you should remove the platies or should reconsider getting an another fish. Hope this helps!

    Two of my platies recently died from dropsy. I wanted to ask you guys, what can you do to cure dropsy? And what can you do to prevent it in the future?

    Did the bellies of the platies look like a pinecone from up the surface? And also, did the platies scales protrude? It would look something like this from the surface: And this is what it would look like if the scales protrude:

    Yep. Honestly, she isn't stressed and don't mind the company. The other fish also learned not to be in her way and don't bother her. Also, she doesn't flare at her reflection as much as before.

    @nabokovfan87 Sorry for the late reply. And also, she (the betta) doesn't seemed too stressed and honestly seems extremely happy.

    So, I have a female veiltail betta that keeps flaring at her reflection. How much flaring is too much?

    Do you guys sell female endlers? Or is it just males?

    Alright thanks for the advice! Although the tank is already cycled for about 9 months now.

    I did at least 3 water changes already and removed all of the ammonia. I think the mold wasn't really mold at all as the mold doesn't seem to be harming the fish. It could be overfeeding as the fish seems to have red gills.

    No, although it's orange in color.

    Actually I'm not sure if its mold in the first place. The only place I found it was on the filter.
