My black tetras line up in the back wall of the aquarium in this formation (see attached). Is this normal? I noticed this happening after I started to decorate the tank.

I saw at the LFS and it was swimming like a puffer (see pic). But the labels seems incorrect. Or maybe I am wrong. thoughts?

Can I leave it in the tank and use as quarantine tank for new fish? Does that help?

Is 6g cube too small? 14 g cube too big? i thought the cube would be good because lots of vertical space. thoughts?

I. Have had good luck with using salt and increasing the concentration every other day to a max of 1 tbsp to 1 gallon. I have read online of some fish having adverse effects when fungus clear used when open sores present. kanaplex and salt have helped me in the past.

I agree. Fin rot. The edges are curling and have white fuzz. The fuzz suggests fungus. If antifungals don’t work consider adding kanamycin.

@Patrick_Ghow long does the dormant period last? Does that happen routinely? Or is it triggered by something?

@Katherine is right - that has happened to me. I plug it into a smart outlet on a power strip next to the tank. That way i can lift the hose and quickly turn off the pump

Love it. It puts 5 gallons in the tank in 1-1.5 min

I bought a bulb back in November. It seemed to be doing really well - many lily pad shoots over many months. In the last 1-2 months it has stopped sending out shoots. And it was been only sending out a few leaves close to the bulb. i ended up getting rid of it. Ideas on what could have happened?
