  1. @Chick-In-Of-TheSeathanks for checking! I looked through your diary as @Guppysnailand you suggested. And watched Lavs snail videos. I was worried I had killed them because I hadn’t checked on them in many days when I had found them yesterday. But i but then in a breeding box as directed and they moved around last night! See pic. I put in calcium and pulverized algae and sinking tablets. I have to watch the videos on cleaning etc. any major tips? Things to watch out for based on your experience? btw - Bluey has been on a tear- she made 3 more clutches! Can I take them off the glass if it’s been more than 24 hours? Like a week later? I was going to do an experiment and see how the glass ones do. They are still hanging on a week later.
  2. @Chick-In-Of-TheSeaOMG AND YOU ARE EMAILING ME ABOUT SNAILS!!!! #devoted are you OK? I ask bc you say you are at a hospital. i hope you are safe and ok. what an awful storm Ian has been
  3. I dont have a breeder box. I have them in a plastic container floating on the top of the tank. Should i buy a breeder box? also - am i crumbling the clutch bc they have all hatched? Both clutches? How do you know there are no more snails to hatch?
  4. @Chick-In-Of-TheSea@Guppysnail i ended up putting the small clutch in the incubator. I looked today (had sort of given up bc it seemed to moist) and I found this- see attached. have they hatched? What do I do???
  5. Do i have to keep moistening the paper towel in the floating plastic tub @Chick-In-Of-TheSea?
  6. Was his 10gallon tank cycled?
  7. @Chick-In-Of-TheSea I woke up to more this morning after I lowered the water level so the incubator could fit! See pic. tomorrow can I put these in same incubator?
  8. @TheSwissAquaristi hadn’t thought of rubber bands. Thank you! I had tried string for moss but that was a mess. @rockfishersee pic. Should i position the roots a certain way?
  9. @Chick-In-Of-TheSea i used an exacto knife bc i was afraid I would smush them. And i didn’t want to touch them 😆 i have put them in the incubator as directed (see pic). I did notice some goo dripping from the blob. You can see a clear bubble or two in the pic. We shall see what happens. Thank yoU!
  10. Done! Thank you @rockfisherand @lefty o I will send a pic later today
  11. @Chick-In-Of-TheSeawhen can I remove them from the lid? I read sometimes in the first 1-2 days they are too soft
  12. Do you all thing the fact that I raise and lower that side of the lid is going to be a problem? Should I switch the lid around so these are on the back side?
  13. That means I got a pregnant snail from the LFS! I feel like they are the baby mothers now! Lol
  14. I read online that they are not asexual but can hold sperm for months. Is that true?
  15. Another question- how is this possible when I only have 1 mystery snail?
  16. Omg. This is progress since my last mystery snail died. Does this mean it’s healthy? does the LFS want these? if I want to put them in another tank can I move now?
  17. I raised my tank lid and was like what?!?! See pic I suspect snail eggs. I have 1 mystery snail and a bunch of bladder snails. But I have never seen this.
  18. Hi Nerms, I just received some anubias. I wanted to attach it to driftwood that is already in the tank. How (can) you can attach anubias to wet driftwood?
  19. Fair question. I just thought it would be cool to have all sorts of tetras in tetraland (name for aquarium)
  20. I have had trouble when my light was on too much with easy green
  21. I have used the stress guard with kanaplex and ich treatment simultaneity. No problem. In a 10g with sponge filter.
  22. I haven’t had a problem but honestly the quarantine is usually for a betta. And I change the water so frequently bc of meds it doesn’t end up mattering probably.
  23. Nice! What are you feeding them? Nevermind. I see. I never thought of feeding with a syringe. I just cut up the blocks and drop them in. But I always worry my little ones don’t get any.
  24. Thanks @Seattle_Aquarist!
