  1. No, in fact, raising fry in a smaller tank can be beneficial in some cases. Often fry aren't able to actively hunt for food, and will only eat food that comes directly to them. So, in a smaller tank, the food is more likely to get to them and there is less risk of starvation.
  2. I would try bn plecos in the main tank. They'll take a little while to reach breeding age but they guard their eggs and lay them in caves so they have much better chance of lasting long enough to hatch compared to most egg layers.
  3. Recently picked up a red-tail shark (currently in quarantine). I usually feed extreme krill flakes, but what other foods should I consider adding to improve its diet?
  4. I would wait a week, to make sure the tetra are healthy. If the tetra break out with ich in two days you'll be much better out w/o other fish in the tank. After a week you can be reasonably confident the tetra are healthy.
