Hey y’all downsized to a smaller tank due to life haha, and went to my local fish store and bought a group of 6 lamprologus ocellotus blue. 2 are close to adults and the others are medium. What I want to know, is the blue color variant found in the wild and not man made like their gold counterparts? The fish store said they are way more rare and yes but want to ask. And also any info you have on these types of fish and this type in particular would be appreciated because there is nothing on them. thanks y’all

So I found out I don’t have a Camentana pike I have a xingu 1 pike I guess and it’s even more rare so a win win

Hey y’all so if you can give me info on this species, I got a dedicated, pair of this fish, and I am putting them in a 30 gallon planted tank if your could give me info on them, like water temp and food, I have it set at 80 degrees, if I need to lower it I can any info is appreciated! thx

Oh gotcha now I understand what your saying I’m sorry got confused, my goal is for them to keep breeding and that is how I get my numbers up because all I started with in this 30 was a true adult pair and they had babies like rabbits lol

I don’t know yet about if I will add more species, i think that I will keep it just them to keep their like pure I don’t want hybridization and thank you, I’ve worked hard on these guys, beefing them up!

Hey guys this is my 30 gallon yellow lab tank I started with a delicated pair now am at 11 now I’m going to be going to a 75 gallon for them after I graduate college in 3 months, these fish are by far my favorite!!! Hey y’all so got a question, for my birthday I was given a red Devil cichlid and he is goregeous. But there is some info I want to know. He is in a grow out tank right now, he’s about 4 to 5 inches. I guess my first question are the red devil cichlids that are red like mine actually found in the wild? Also my second question is how to make sure I have a male, I’m pretty sure I do, because on his fins he already has trailers but he does not have his nucle hump yet I’ll try and get a picture. Also any more info would be great.

Here is the scientific name Cameta Pike Cichlid (Crenicichla cametana) so hope that helps I’ll take a look at the video I think tho that may be a redatabapo pike.

Yeah could be I don’t know that why I started treating with ich x just in case also should I crank the temp up the tank he is currently in is 78 degrees this is a qt tank. Also should I continue to feed him while treating?

Hey hall so I noticed that my spotted Congo puffer had a white spot on his head, top fin and side, he seems fine but what should I do I put ich x in the tank today, is there anything else or is it not even ich?

Alrighty so I comepletely changed my tank I have the uns 17 gallon, went to my fish store recently, to buy fish for the tank, and when I first walked in saw these guys, I have never seen a more personable fish their always following me around the room nipping at my fingers, and they are so energetic, I got a group of 6 to grow out, I know they grow slow in the goal of getting a pair, I will be upgrading their tank eventually I have one more semester in college so it’s my college tank so limited on size would like to after college at least get a 75 to 125, what I would like to ask in my current tank do you have any recommendations, because there are really no good articles online? Hey guys I recently had a chance to get a wild pair of apistogramma red points, they are still young, my question is do you guys have any info on them there seems to be very little on YouTube and the internet. And also like when they should start breeding for me. I do know the females are more dull and the makes are more yellow gold color.
