    You should use some friz zyem 7 to jump start the Ammonia.But make sure that there is Ammonia before you put in your fish.

    I think a 55 gallon would be OK i have kept them in the past I recomed that you test the waters ph and temp and try to match it I did that and I had a good time with the fish.

    If you are worried about fish-don't give up! Get something easy like a batta fish. Shrimp are HARD to keep alive. You will do fine with a betta just: feed it and change the water every 2 weeks. But rember do your research on tank parameters. Don't give up! Once you have a betta for a while you could get some neon tetras too .

    I have 1 of every tail type and I just got a new dumbo ear white male batta so cool! my least fav betta is the crowntail I like all of them but they are ok

    I have 2 koi bettas 1 of every type of tail and I just got a new dumbo ear betta I keep with 15 neon tetras. I have a warehouse with all my fish. b/c I have a 2,000 gallon arowwana tank!

    Hi! Today I wnet to the fish store to pick up my new betta ( so pretty!) and I heard someone say " Hi I got the 0.8 gallon betta twinsie tank and I need 2 bettas." It is a tank with a devider so each fish only gets 0.4 gallons of swim room! It comes with no heater or filter! And the employee did't say ANYTHING! He just gave her two KING bettas

    I am so sorry but I have to agree with nabokovfan87 I think the fish should be euthanized. I hate to say it but this fish is going to die anyways so you might not want it to be a sad slow death.😢

    I made a new strain of discus! I call it: Blue peacock. When they grew to adults I breed them and sell them to my LFs for 50 bucks a fish!
