Gravel substrate w/ fake plants. 1 betta, 5 neon tetra, 1 bala shark (his friends died). Tank has been established since December 1st and nothing new added...UNTIL today around 3pm. I added some red root floaters to the tank. Tonight around 10pm I noticed signs of Ich on my Bala shark. I feel confident in my research and plan on how to treat the Ich However I was wondering, can the addition of live plants today at 3pm cause signs of Ich in my fish that quickly at 10pm?
