Liam
I have been hatching baby brine Shrimp for the second time and I had an issue. I turned off the air to harvest them after 24 hours and their were a ton of them at the bottom and only a few were moving in the water column. What should I do? Bsharrow
Could you post a video of what you mean? When you turn the air off many of the brine shrimp will settle at the bottom- this makes it easy to harvest them. Are they unhatched eggs or are you saying that you have hatched but dead brine shrimp?
Liam
They looked like they have hatched but then died because they look like little white Brine Shrimp bodies.
Struggle
What was your water temperature and how long was the air off before harvesting?
Liam
The temp fluctuated and probably got as high as 84 degrees and as low as 68 degrees. The air wasn’t off long.
Struggle
My hatch rates were inconsistent until I added a small heater to regulate the temperature. If you have the availability to do that you may want to give it a shot.
Liam
I have a small heater but it heats it up way to much any recommendations for a better heater?

You could use a desk lamp. That's what I have used for a couple of years and it works great. I use 40w bulbs and it keeps the water nice and warm.
