Chandra
Long time back I remember seeing a video where @Dean’s Fishroom mentioned he cleans his new tanks with Dawn and Vinegar. I can't find the video but is it safe? What do you guys use to clean feeding containers, spoons and aquariums top lids? KBOzzie59
All that is dishwasher safe goes in the dishwasher (no drying agent). I also use Dawn on tanks and non dishwasher safe items.
MickS77
I just use water or vinegar if I have some hard water deposits. I really love using the cleaning sponges from the co-op, they work surprisingly well.
Dean’s Fishroom
Yes I've used liquid Dawn dishwashing soap for years. It rinses clean even if using cold water and I've never had any issues with it causing harm to the fish. Regular household white vinegar works great on any tougher stains and especially calcium deposits and dried on stains.

Kat_Rigel
I'm also a fan of white vinegar, and you can use some baking soda to give it some extra oomph if needed for tough spots. Just rinse well.
