Frost Posted December 7, 2020 Share Posted December 7, 2020 (edited) It works if all you want is tannins and no leaf litter. I've only tried Twinnings rooibos but any brand that's 100% rooibos should be fine. I've only actually used once because I still have a lot of almond leaves, so I've ended up drinking more of it than using it in aquariums, but I did 3 bags divided between a 55 and a 29 gallon and that ratio seemed good to me. Edit: Rachel O'leary has a video about this on youtube, and that's where I learned about it. If you haven't seen that yet I'd recommend watching it.
