Colette
Hi, my goldfish had a stool like this yesterday. Anyone ever see something like this? My fish are fat and well fed. He is a bit less active today. I think the white is intestinal lining? I was planning on fasting the fish for 3 days. my water has been a bit green color lately. I do 30-50% water changes weekly. Thank you! Colette

gabdewulf
Sometimes it's just impacted (hardened) poop.
Colette
That could be. I fed them peas the other day, the poop was greenish color. Good news- he is acting normal. I will watch them closely. I love these little fat carnival fish! Thank you!
mynameisnobody
I’d feed peas immediately for a couple of days, see if the poop turns green. After that go back to feeding anything but vegetables for a couple of days. What color is the poop then? If it changes to green and then back to white, I would medicate for worms.

Colette
@Colu Hi there!! I feed Aqueon goldfish sinking pellets, 20 total roughly once daily. The pleco gets a 1/3 zucchini weekly and Algae pellets 2times per week. ( IF the goldfish do not find the algae wafers first). The goldfish eat occasionally a few Vibra bites as a treat, (for tropical fish) peas, zucchini and daphnia flakes maybe once weekly or every other week. The goldfish are fed once a day regular pellets mainly. These 2 always seem so ravenous here are my goldfish and my 1 pleco. They all seem like a good weight/ body condition to me. I just do not want them to be hungry. Just happy and full. These are the same 2 goldfish you all helped me through Dropsy signs. In May. Thanks!!!
