Marcelo
Hi @Whitecloud09 I feed them one time per day and when the lights turn off as I have seeing they don’t come to eat when the light is on. One time per week with bloodworms and the other days with tetra flocks. I have 7 of them and only one seems sick.
Whitecloud09
Interesting, I have no idea how or why he’s skinny @Marcelo, maybe he doesn’t get fed as much because they are bullying him possibly? I am kinda clueless……
Marcelo
I might be moving this poor guy to the hospital tank, keep lights off, controlled temperature and etc and try to feed him better but sometimes, they get so stressed for being alone that they eat less. i am just wondering if this is some disease and not food quantity … Edited April 29 by Marcelo

Yes, hospital tank, maybe add some aquarium salt @Marcelo as well.
macdaddy36
Salt probably won’t help. Glass catfish are scale less and might be more sensitive than other fish. When you feed it are you able to see it eat?
Marcelo
Hi @macdaddy36I am not sure … I have been turning off the lights before feeding them and I am not totally sure. Now that he is in the hospital alone, I will be able to see and will let you know. Yesterday he didn’t but as this was his first day there, probably stress. macdaddy36
What about now?
Marcelo
Hi @macdaddy36 Still the same … no eating. I tried to increase the temperature a little bit, cover all sides of the hospital and kept the light off. A lot of Java moss there. I hope it starts to eat tomorrow.
Tony s
If he’s in a quarantine tank you might go ahead and treat with maracyn 2. May not have much to lose at this point. He’s just going to get weaker. It’s shrimp safe so should be good with glass. Possibly a parasite? @Colu got any ideas?
macdaddy36
What are you trying to feed him?
Tony s
@Marcelo how long have you had these cats. It’s very concerning to me that he’s wasting away. May be very hard to fix. If they’re relatively new. Parasite is my best guess
Marcelo
Hi @Tony s @macdaddy36 @Whitecloud09 you guys are amazing. Unfortunately, it died. I believe he had some disease - I don't think the issue was food but we will never know ! Thank you so much for trying to help ... Marcelo Sorry to hear that, yeah now thinking of what you fed him and everything, it was probably some kind of disease. (Idk what kind tho).
