Hi Everyone, I bought this CO2 Flow Meter and I didn’t realize the connector was not a 3/16 inch (0.7 cm) like the common aquarium tubing we usually use. This one is a 5/16 inch (0.8 cm) I was going to return it but seems like all of them have the same connector (5/16 “) I tried to find some adaptor or something else without success. Do you guys have some idea or suggestion? I just don’t want to pay $50 for one of the most expensive ones.

Hi Elyse, what do you mean with 50? And how are you measuring this number ? When you say you are trying CO2, are you saying you have a tank with injected CO2? marcelo

Are You Going to have plants ? Rocks or only fish ?

Hi Everyone I have two Angles that are living together since about 1 year. They are together with other small tetras, neons and etc. they were friends and no issues at all. I have noticed lately both of them fighting and I have been thinking about what to do but looks like I spent so much time thinking and as a consequence, looks like one is hurt. 1) do you believe this is some disease? Or this is what I think it is - consequence of their fight? 2) I moved him to my hospital tank. Is there something I could give him to help in the healing process or only take care of him and he will heal with time? pH 6 to 7 Nitrates about 0 Hardness 4.5 Nitrite 0 Ammonia 0 KH/Buffer about 4.5 too

Hi Everyone, 40 Gal Breeder tank. 3 years old, 8 Neon, 9 or 10 Harlequin Bards, one female betta, 3 Amano Shrimps, and some nerites. All these fish are old to the tank (Amanos are new). A lot of plants. Dry Fertilizer with EI method. Injected CO2 but the fish not giving me a sign of low Oxygen. Ammonia 0, Temperature 75oF, pH from 7.3 to about 6.1 (injected CO2 brings down to 6.1). Nitrate 60, Nitrite 0 KH 89ppm GH 60ppm So, two weeks ago I found 1 neon dead on the floor. Yesterday another one and today, another one. I don't know what I could be missing ?!?! I use RO water and add Seachem to raise GH and KG as I always do. The only thing I have noticed is a huge increase in the algae (green) on the glass .... Do you have some idea ??

Hi Everyone, I just moved my Ludwigia Super Read from that corner as they kept getting loose due to the water flow that is strong there. I have an in-line injected CO2 on my output canister water flow. it’s a 40 gal breeder. I am looking for some non grass plant (as I have hair grass in the opposite side), not so tall … two or three bushes maybe ?!?! Not green maybe ?? That area has active substrate, a lot of co2 .. I am using EI Dry Ferts. Some suggestion? Thank you very much

@Mmiller2001 but replacing the tap water mix with the MgSO4 is worth or the tap water has more stuff on it that the MgSO4 doesn’t ? I am already dosing dry K,N, P and Micros … I would prefer to use MgSO4 as is to easier and safer … @JoeQ sorry .. I didn’t understand what you meant …

Hi Everyone, I have been using Green Leaf fertilizers and EI in my planted tank for a while (N,P,K and Micros) As I use RO water for TPA, I usually adjust the KH with Seachem Alkaline Buffer and I mix 1/2 gallon of my Tap Water to adjust the GH (I am from Florida - ver hard water here). I just saw I have a bag of Magnesium Sulfate (MgSO4) that I never used !!! It came together with my EI kit. Is the Magnesium to be used instead of the Tap Water that I use to raise my GH ? Or it will raise the GH and KH? thank you very much

Hi Everyone, 40 gal planted tank, with injected CO2 and etc. pH from 6,8 going down to 5.5 in the middle of the day. About 7 neons, 8 lemon tetras and about 8 Harlequin AND 2 Angels of about 2.5 inches. Weeks ago I tried to put 5 small Red Cherry Shrimps and I am 99% sure my angels did eat them. Is this normal ? Do you think the problem is I bought too small shrimps or these Angels will eat them anyways? Maybe bigger Cherry or Amanos? thank you Marcelo

Hi All, Wife wants a puffer. I have been reading about them but as there are many species I am a little bit confuse about if I can have one or many and which one I could have. This is my setup: 40 gal planted tank with injected CO2 (pic attached), 2 angels, 8 Rasbora Harlequins, 8 neons, 10 Tetra Lemons, 3 k. loaches. pH 5.5 to 6.8. No shrimps, no snails .. maybe 1 or 2 Nerites that I haven’t seen since weeks 😆 Is it possible to have 1 or more puffers with these fish and tank ? thank you very much !!!!!!!! Marcelo
