ForteanFish
Hi everyone, My two eheim heaters were at the end of their life span, so I bought an Aquarium Co-Op 100 watt heater for ny 60 gallon tank. It's doing great, but I frequently see the light on to heat up the tank. I've always heard to have two heaters in the tank to help keep the temp stable and to help each heater from burning out due to workload. Should I buy another one for the same tank? Guppysnail
I would/ do for tanks 40+. It’s also a failsafe if one quits heating.
govsfabshop
I would! I run 2 aco 100s in my 55gal in a cooler room and they seem to keep up real well. I've always run 1 ACO heater in my 40, recently had to go to 300w in my bigger tank and tossed one of the extras in the 40 and i hardly see the lights on.
