Ryan1988
So I've had my 3 pea puffers from Aqua Huna for over a month now all are alive and well. To this day none of them have expressed any interest in any food other than the pest snails living in the tank. Any one else have this experience? Guppysnail
What other foods are you feeding. They need live foods such as worms, scuds, snails. Most folks have no luck transitioning them to any commercial foods.
Ryan1988
I've tried frozen bloodworms and vibra bites.
JettsPapa
Mine will eat frozen bloodworms, but they go weeks without getting anything other than snails (unless they grab a shrimp once in a while, but I doubt it).
Rube_Goldfish
We have two; one of them is pretty enthusiastic about frozen bloodworms and the other completely uninterested. Interestingly, the one who likes frozen bloodworms is a pretty avid hunter of baby brine shrimp, and the other more tepid, but they will both eat them. Mostly it's been snails, though. (I finally got the green light from Mrs. Goldfish to start up a grindal worm culture, though, so they'll get some more variety soon!)
DallasCowboys16
When I kept them I had no problem getting them on blood worms, but I always kept a steady supply of pest snails available for them to eat. They seemed to do better when they had lots of snails in their diet. As far as some stuff that they will go crazy for, they would really enthusiastically eat live brine and black worms. If you have access to either I would recommend giving those a shot just to vary their diet a little bit.
