But best yet I found a half dead Cypt Flamingo which I got for 8 bucks!!! Upon opening I found not 1 but 5 plantlets. I see the PE hard at work there, may need to revisit that. 🤣 I have found oddball great deals on plants that normally would not be at a big box. Originally when I started getting into the planted tank obsession, the only place I could get decent plants was at a store 45 minutes away. Not being a fan of driving I would often hit local big box stores in search of plants I could rehab for cheap!!! The other has submerged leaves but it's not much bigger than last post. I probably could remove the weight and protective ring, but she's growing good, (most likely rooted) but why tempt fate? Anyway here's an update (if only for my self) I finally pulled the plant weight. Good thing I didn't pull it earlier because of course I left it hanging by a thread! Good thing I keep backfill gravel on hand for such emergencies! Hopefully she'll forgive me and not melt back outa spite!
