Stephen Zawacki
Hey guys want you to rate my pair of jewels and their set up. I’ve had these guys for ages in a larger tank went to a little smaller just for them to breed here it is. Also they are turquoise jewel cichlids, the one question I do have are they found in the wild with the turquoise variant. thanks
CJs Aquatics
I think its a nice setup, and amazing fish, I’ve actually not seen them before… 10/10 from the Toledo Ohio Judge 🙃
AllFishNoBrakes
Tagging @Fish Folk as they might have first-hand experience. Could be wrong, though.
Fish Folk
Beautiful! I am informed by a serious breeder that all turquoise Hemichromis are hybrids. I did not bother breeding mine because the debate over reliable taxonomic data on Hemichromis is … a hot mess. They would be ineligible for BAP in my club. I bought mine as H. bimaculatus but technically they may be a cross between H. lifalili and H. bimaculatus. No matter what, they’re attractive! Here’s mine before I moved them on…
