Can You Identify This Fish?

Hello!

I spotted these fish tucked away in a corner tank at my local fish store. They were unlabeled and the owner wasn't sure what they were as they were "left overs" on the shipment truck that they decided to bring into the store. I think they are cute and they kinda fluttered around, hovering about an inch or so above the substrate.

I'm not sure if they are a loach or a type of siamese algae eater, so any guesses on what they are would be appreciated!

I would bet money that this is what is called an Inle Loach. Petruichthys Brevis. Characteristics include the bent spine seen in one of the photos you provided.

I’d never heard of this species before, so I looked it up.  A quick search and it looks like @DaveO is exactly right.  Pics match exactly, including the bent looking spine.  A much better match than the rosy or hovering loach pics.
