Hello from Los Angeles

Hi everyone!

So I got a bit excited with my first post and went straight to the journal section. My bad on that one 😅

Little info on my journey; started keeping fish when I was 8 or 9 which was influenced by my dad because he used to breed bettas. I was mostly into breeding CA/SA cichlids before and then I stumbled on a planted tank specific forum located here in socal. It's been planted all tanks after that... mostly algae farms in the beginning because I didn't know what to do .

Would love to see if there's anyone out here in LA that's also into planted tanks. I need a fishkeeping buddy cause I always wanna talk about fish and plants 😬

@knee Those tanks look amazing!  my first guess would be C02, than i realize you're probably someone like MDfishtanks, that does low tech setups, but still amazing plant growth.

Thank yoU! I used co2 on the first two tanks but the smaller ones didn't have them. The current tanks I have now don't have co2 as well. I prefer the slower growth because I'm lazy to trim 🤣
