Fish Folk
Consider this an advance notice on a long, detailed post I intend to make soon down the road. There are so many beautiful species of small, freshwater North American Native Fish (NANF) that could live well in home aquaria if they weren’t endangered species. Here are three that I cannot get enough of… Bluemask Darter Spring Pygmy Sunfish Barrens Topminnow Conservation Fisheries has been breeding these and releasing back to the wild in an impressive battle against extinction. As a breeder, this project utterly fascinates me. 3
Theplatymaster
those fish are real good looking! i only wonder how fish can be that colorful in the wild, as it would make them much easier to see by predators. Man that darter though... if it was readily available in this hobby, id get one. But i dont call myself an expert, and im worried if i got some to breed for conservation purposes, id just end up killing them.

You have to be legit to qualify for keeping gems like these.
