Fish Folk
Funny thing happened just the other day. My son and I were at our LFS together looking for some wood as hardscape for his new aquarium (20-long). Being a small tank, the wood really needed to fit just right. We looked at everything laid out, but nothing was perfect. We were being helped by an employee who said, “We will need to look in the bins.” My son and I exchanged a puzzled look. Then he pulled all of these out from under tanks. In 5 years, we had _never known_ all of this wood was kept there 😂 We found two absolutely perfect pieces. TheSwissAquarist
I have been tempted to search my LFS bins before…might be some fun stuff in there like that! What’s the new tank for anyway? The little brown fish from the auction?
Fish Folk
@TheSwissAquarist my son is returning to the hobby after a several years’ break. The tank is a 20 long I built a stand for as a Christmas gift… He is thinking about guppies for now. The tank is not finished cycling yet. A guy I know built himself a varnished wood stand painted with some fluorescent paint he got for Xmas - very much the DIY type!
