My sons like many kids in their generation are absolutely obsessed with Kids YouTube and about 18 months ago my 5 year old started talking about The OdySea Aquarium in Scottsdale AZ. Not sure what it was about it perhaps it was just that typical flash and bang style of a YT video but he was hooked. About 4 months ago my wife and I started thinking about my Continuing Education and using it as an opportunity for a quickie family vacation. Well Scottsdale was ironically at the top of my list due to a cool meeting so we made it to Scottsdale. Day 1 of the conference was an afternoon session so we had the whole morning at the aquarium.

They had a nice shark and ray exhibit.

We had a ton of fun. My wife bought tickets for some of the other “attractions “ Nextdoor and I found this Butterfly experience quite cool. The first time I did one of these it was at the Museum of Natural History in NYC. 3DD1B96A-5842-43D9-BCA4-36874D111CFF.jpeg.319c95b4feaf189b4f868bd58086f38a.jpegA369F3EF-0D35-4387-B128-36FCFDAEE522.jpeg.c93c33c0c3b7d7b75349bf99d7fec204.jpeg82912A98-1487-4798-8C83-D01AC99AE0EE.jpeg.3d89868eb57958d80b9c205f853fd094.jpeg417AA90E-BB4F-4750-B7F2-B8B6B15D449C.jpeg.ccf0cf666a91b77d2937d6db7365e8ab.jpegAAB95DFF-2141-4503-8707-9DA78376A551.jpeg.68babbbd6a87686ed012df5a98e2c476.jpeg824135A4-EBFC-4824-941D-A7F2479B14AA.jpeg.4c13b18236818c96dda9cdeba783d3c6.jpeg4B987E79-B939-42BC-B1C3-D5182D378D13.jpeg.7c0e1640e9f975c74f4fff08c6ae9e26.jpegC3CD06D3-FACB-4D80-8C6F-80862B744377.jpeg.de5a996501d73c9582ef82bf6f8bac26.jpeg5B57C463-81E1-4EC1-948F-0F95B8E68107.jpeg.3070ed12659a2807cc8cbae1f576cb3a.jpeg

We had fun. I’d skip the rest of the 😧”attractions “ but I’d come back for these two.
