Stef
Hi. I purchased an Amazon Sword plant from a big box store. When I removed it from the tube, it was three smaller plants tied together. I assume I need to remove the string before planting, right? Wasn’t sure if the string is biodegradable or not. I’m planting it in Controsoil capped with sand in a 20 gal long. KBOzzie59
I'd remove it.
xXInkedPhoenixX
Agreed with @KBOzzie59- I have purchased several of these and usually remove them as I can use them as multiple plants or if using as one plant less restrictive to the plant itself. Leaving it there probably won't do any harm at all if you're tempted not to.
lefty o
i would remove it, and plant them separately.
Stef
I removed the string (was fairly tight) and planted loosely as one plant.
