PPG Aquarium Visit

Enjoyed a day up in Pittsburgh, PA today. Zoo was very nice, but the PPG Aquarium was what I came most for!  I did not photograph anything much in the marine exhibit — but it was impressive for a place far, far from the Sea.

I took a couple videos too. Sorry for the noise. (Kids were a hoot too!)

This one was right by the entrance. I’m not sure about some species…

This was a NANF tank with Pupfish, Mollys, and maybe… Mummichog?

And, for those who would applaud every occasion to “ENJOY NATURE DAILY” beyond the pleasure of watching fish…

Bonus! There was a nice lantern exhibit set up around the zoo this season…

Those red rainbow fish are really cool. What variety are they?

A couple in that photo might be tails of Boesemanis, but not all of them. I'll look to find a few more photos . . . let me see here . . .

I'm guessing "Red Rainbowfish" (Glossolepis incisus)
