Samuel
Just wondering if I take the bottom panel off of my glass aquarium if I'll need to pull off all the panels to reseal it or if I can just stick the bottom panel back on with Silicone and then reseal the inside of the tank? face
you would have to take it all apart and clean the glass very well silicone doesn't stick to dry silicone very well. 1
lefty o
agree with the above, fresh silicone doesnt really adhere well to cured silicone. im sure it could be done, but chances of success are very low, and not worth the risk. 1
rockfisher
@face if it has a frame could you remove the bottom clean up all the old silicone and replace just the bottom panel. Or you you think you would have he to remove the top rim anyway so you might as well do it all. I like the black silicone when I have redone tanks. I have never had to do a bottom though.
