Hi.  I  filled my 20H tank with gravel and water.  I looked underneath the tank and noticed there are several large bubbles below my UGF plate.  Do I need to shake the bubbles loose or can I just leave them there and they wont cause any long term harm?

Not a problem at all.  They will eventually disperse.  If you had large bubbles that developed in layers of substrate, that can be problematic methane or hydrogen sulfide gas.  But air under a freshly set up UGF plate is not a problem at all and will disperse with normal use, especially with a powerhead.  If you are accumulating air under your plate using airstones, your airstones are too low.  Just lift them up a little bit until there’s no air going under the plate.
