Mattlikesfish36
I am thinking about switching from a lily pipe outlet to a jet pipe for a little extra flow to keep my stem plants moving in the current. Will a jet pipe circulate co2 just as well as the lily pipe? Any drawbacks to making this switch? I have a 17 gallon aquarium that it heavily planted. Any advice would be much appreciated! Mmiller2001
I've tried them all. There's just no substitute for a spray bar. But yes they will distribute CO2 just fine with proper placement.

Might need to look into one
Minanora
I also use a spray bar. It started as a thing I didn't like, now it's my favorite.

Eheim 4005310 Spray Bar Set for 594 Tubing https://a.co/d/1UGmztl Has a quick release too. And prime access. Mmiller2001
It will be better co2 distribution and you can also aim it at the surface to increase service agitation. It's everything you want when you're injecting CO2. For a 17 gallon tank, a regular lilly pipe should be fine. I don't try to get my plants moving. I just want good, evenly distributed co2 through and around plants. Here's mine in action. https://youtu.be/6XzZphKmWsk
Jeff
Are spray bars only for canister filters? Or, can you use one if you don't filter with a canister some how...?
