TeeJay
Like the title says do you think on co op air pump could run 3 small co op sponge filters in 2 ten gal tanks side by side and get enough flow?
Administrators Zenzo Posted June 9, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 9, 2022 It's doable if you are referring to the black Aquarium Co-Op Air Pump (with backup battery) and not the nano USB pump. I have mine attached to a gang valve, and it is supplying air to three tanks with small and nano sponge filters (one in a 10 gallon, one in a mini tub/pond...about the same depth as a 10 gallon, maybe a bit deeper), and a nano 4 gallon tank. You will have to adjust the valves to get the flow equal to all three sponges. The flow that I am getting to all 3 is just right.

DaveO
I am running two medium sponge filters with one USB nano pump. Although it does work, it's just not enough flow. I just ordered another USB so that I can run each sponge with its own pump. I don't know what I was thinking except to say I hoped it would work with just one. Wrong.
