BigJ
I am super excited, I know it's nothing ground breaking but this is my first time successfully breeding anything besides pest snails. Just had my first RCS shrimplets this evening. You can see two on the pre filter and the back of mom's tail. 5

Cbass
Shrimplets are super fun. My female ghost shrimp has been berried several times and we went from 5 to 11. My kids love searching the tank to see if there are any more as the momma dropped her eggs about 3 weeks ago.

PineSong
Wow, you have good eyes! I can never see my baby shrimp until they are about 4 times that size for the red ones and much bigger than that for the yellows! Congratulations on the breeding! Cinnebuns
Oh man I'm hoping this is what will happen here soon. I just got my first shrimp ever and one was already barried with eggs. It's been a week and I haven't seen any other shrimp with eggs so either she had them, or she died and I haven't found her. I'm holding out hope for the first lol
BigJ
My first one barried died, but once they got settled they there were 3 barried in one week and one of them is the mom of these ones

BigJ
Just out of curiosity what are some other vegetables people have had success with as shrimp food?

Zucchini and fresh spinach are some I've fed, along with mild peppers. I've heard that split broccoli stems are good also. With all those I've boiled just long enough to soften them up and so they'll sink instead of floating. That will take a very short time with the spinach, and longer with the others.
