Zac
Hey all, I have a thick layer of biofilm on my driftwood. If I get amano shrimp, will they take care of it?
BigJ
I had about that much in my 10gal and 13 RCS plus some bladder snails took care of it in less than a week. I don't have any experience with Amanos though
lefty o
shrimp will nibble at it. in a few weeks, or at worst maybe 2 months, it will go away on its own.
Beardedbillygoat1975
Shrimp and snails would crush that!
AndreaW
Yes, Shrimp and snails would make short work of that wonderful film, but you also need to make sure you have plenty of other food for them to eat once it's gone, although driftwood will produce biofilm on and off. nabokovfan87
You can probably just siphon it off one time really well, add amanos, and it'll never return. They do amazing work.
