Hey guys  I have a planted 40 breeder with a spotted Congo puffer he is solo, I am pretty sure he has epystilis, I was wondering it seems like ich x and Marycyn is the treatment for it, my question is can I just do the med trio. Would that knock it out for good.  This is also my show tank don’t have another one for qt, does the ich x stain silicone also. It seems it is at the beginning so want to get rid of it early.

please help thx.

You can treat with another broad spectrum antibiotic in food is the most affective way to treat Epistylis what you can do is treat with maracyn in food add a quarter of a packet of maracyn one table spoon of pellets or one cube of frozen food one scoop of seachems focus 1 cap of garlic guard a few drops of water mix well feed a small amount twice a day for 7 days store any leftover medicated food in the fridge at the same time you can treat the water column with ick x
