FishKeeper22
When an anubias plant melts are the leaves supposed to be soggy? I ordered two pots of anubias nana petit in February. They have no new growth, and the plant falls into the pot when I remove it from the water. I also wonder if it was wrong for me to leave them it the pot I received them in. Widgets
I don't think it matters much about leaving the plant in the pot vs removing, especially for a slow growing plant like Anubias. Some will leave the plants in the pot for a while to let it get adjusted to the water before stressing the roots by replanting.
Guppysnail
Is the rhizome (hard stem thing leaves grow out of) mushy or squishy (very technical terms 🤣) to the touch. It could be anubias rot. There is info online about it. It is some type of disease. If you have not yet remove it from the pot if the rhizome in buried. They don’t like that and could also be the cause of mushy rhizomes. Only the roots should be in substrate.
