Forum Attachments Can you delete

Hello have a forum how to question please  under My Attachments  under user control panel

can you delete or clear past attachments that has been deleted but still showing up under My Attachments area  ..that is not attached to a thread or post at all  but under My Attachments everything still shows present and past deleted  attachments 

I know that you can go to the post or thread and delete the attachment there ..

@Bev C, I have been searching for this thread to give a reply. I researched this topic.

Images that are removed from posts should be deleted, but if the images are in a hidden post, they will remain. Do you have have an example that I can check?

No i do not have a example  i am sorry ,, But it must do it automatically 

I rechecked my attachment area and it must automatically update and clean ,, after a certain time limit ( so many days) 

When I recheck my attachments just a few minutes ago the image list was clean  and all the old images that was deleted or images not attach to the  member signature or member post was deleted   so now the only images showing are the ones still active in use 

That is good to know it cleans automatically after images are deleted thank you so much for the help I appreciate it
