BAT
Am thinking about putting these fish in a 20 gallon long with Mollies and Dwarf Gouramis. has anyone had any experience with Red velvet swords? Opinions?
anewbie
Depends how many of each fish you intend to have. I have 4 or 5 swordtails in my 29 and they are pushing the limit of what the aquarium can handle in part because of the plants. But even when i had them in the 40B; I always felt larger was better. Personally I would drop the dwarf gouramis as they can be unpredictable temper; and look at 5 sparkling or 3 honey; maybe 2 swordtails and 2 or 3 mollies. I'm not a fan of how honey look but at least they are peaceful.
