Aquatictimes
For all those who paint their nails and keep fish tanks... I have not painted my nails since getting my first fish tank. The chemicals, the constantly being in water, and the worry with my axolotl that something will leech into the water and harm them has my fingernails exposed and chipped. Do any of you regularly paint your nails and clean your tanks? Any best practices? I finally have a nice sit down at the computer job and no longer out in the field but my tanks at home keep my nails from being strong and pretty. It’s not a huge problem, just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this. I’m by no means a girly girl but sometimes I’d like my nails to look at least decent with some enamel strengthened. But I would never do anything to put my many tanks at risk. Let me know your thoughts.
ShySnail
My nails are painted at least 75% of the time, and I’ve never noticed any adverse effects on my tanks. To be honest, I’ve never even given it a second thought.
lefty o
i am fairly positive that as long as the nail polish is fully cured, it will be fine.
