HisMineandOurs
I'm wanting to breed blue cherry shrimp. Can I have a bamboo shrimp or giant blue wood shrimp in a 10 gallon with them?
Guppysnail
Bamboo shrimp are filter feeders. And filter their food rom water flow. They need a current so hob not just sponge filters but they are totally safe. I don’t know anything about giant blue wood shrimp though.
HisMineandOurs
I've got a hang on back filter and a small sponge filter. Would that be enough current?

Yes as long as you set up an area for the bamboo to perch directly in front of near the outflow. They will spend most of their time there.
