Levi_Aquatics Posted January 16, 2022 Share Posted January 16, 2022 I just picked up a pea puffer and I am planning on doing the med trio and then a round of expell-p. Should I feed him while I am dosing meds? Does this medication approach sound good or should I do things in a different order or use different meds? Colu Posted January 16, 2022 Share Posted January 16, 2022 As most puffers are wild caught I would just treat them for parasites if you don't feed during treatment it makes it easy for the fish to Expel any parasites I would make sure they have good body condition if you're not going to feed during treatment 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Feed them up for a couple of days and then start treatment I would do two courses of paracleanse two weeks apart to treat for any tape worms and three courses of Expel one week apart to cover against parasites such internal nematodes round worms and hook worms 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
