Struggle
I have red root floaters that I want to transfer from my outdoor pond to some of my aquariums and don’t want to transfer any critters with them, specifically dragon fly eggs or larvae. I love seeing the dragon flies around my pond but I have a very strong dislike of their larvae in my aquariums. Does anyone have any tried and true methods to alleviate unwanted critter eggs and larvae?
ChefConfit
I've used a bleach dip before. Basically fill a container with water and a good amount of bleach like 1/2 a cup - 1 cup per gallon then let the plants sit in it for 10 minutes. The rinse them and put them in water with a ton of dechlorinator for another 10 minutes. Then I put them in a quarantine tank for a few days to make sure everything's good
