It could be a tumor or a fluid filled cyst some  I would Qarantine and add some  aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons it will help reduce any fluid buildup

That’s what I’m working on at this moment any other form of treatment I should be using or just salt for now

I what I would do is give the salt a couple of days if your not seeing much improvement than I would do a course of kanaplex or maracyn2

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but sometimes fish will develop cancer just as humans do and there is still no cure. You have a nice growth of Myriophyllum though.
